Our sustainable journey

Oct 05, 2023

Like many companies we take our environmental responsibilities seriously and we’re working hard to incorporate sustainable practices into our business wherever we can.

So what are we doing?

Working with partners who share our values: Our gin liqueurs are handcrafted in the Cotswolds and our distillery is committed to a range of sustainable initiatives, especially around energy efficiency.

Supporting our local community: We’re proud of our Cotswold connection and from 2024 we’re sourcing the plums in our Summer Cup from a local Cotswold farm and actively looking for more ways to work with our local community. (Hubert would approve.)

Our bottles: Our bottles are recyclable and are (we think) attractive enough to be upcycled. And for our pub and bar customers we’ve introduced a Reverend Hubert Bar Box that holds the equivalent of 10 bottles in its inner bag.

Better packaging: Our packaging is from Flexi-Hex, a B Corp certified company. It’s made from 100% recycled paper and is itself recyclable.

We're hoping to achieve B Corp status during 2025, so watch this space for updates on our progress and new initiatives as they come online.
