The incredible Andy Clarke created this very special winter cocktail for us - the recipe serves two - enough for you and a friend.
Ingredients:
- 100ml Reverend Hubert Winter Gin Liqueur
- 75ml Grand Marnier (don’t be tempted to sub with another orange liqueur)
- 75ml dry white vermouth
- 50ml lemon juice
- 1 egg white (approx 30ml)
- A nutmeg for grating and 2 twists of orange peel to garnish
Method:
Put all liquid ingredients (apart from garnish) into a shaker along with the egg white, attach lid and shake for 20 seconds.
Remove the lid and a handful of the ice to the shaker. Replace the lid and shake for a further 20 seconds or until your hands start to hurt from the cold!
Pour into glasses, grate a little nutmeg over the top of each drink. Peel a 10cm long piece of orange peel and cut into two neat ribbons, both 2mm in length. Twist to form a ringlet and place on the rim of the glasses.
